Speak Up Advocacy Hub
Warrington Speak Up is a registered charity actively promoting and providing independent advocacy for the benefit of any resident of Warrington who faces discrimination, disadvantage or social isolation. In particular we work alongside vulnerable adults - this may be a person with a physical, sensory or learning disability, mental illness, dementia, a family carer, the elderly or any person who is finding it hard to get their voice heard and have their rights respected.
In addition we provide advocacy support to disabled young people in Warrington from the age of 14 to 25. We aim to ensure that every person has a right to be heard, to make their own choices and gain control over their lives, to be safe from abuse and harm, to be treated with respect and dignity and to enjoy a full and valued life.
Advocacy is free, confidential and independent of other services. We have a range of statutory, non-statutory advocacy and projects and a team of advocates that support people to speak up and be heard.
