5 Weeks – 2 hours per week

Is this course for me?

This course is for the over 50s covering the 11 top tips and other information necessary to Age Well.  The final week is a community Making Every Contact Count Course.

About the course

Each course will be made up from a selection of the following components –

  • Dementia Friends
  • Light exercise, reduce the risk of falling
  • U switch, check your benefits entitlement
  • Aids and Adaptations, independent living
  • Introduction to tablets and smart phones
  • Safe and Secure
  • Scam Awareness
  • Happy, Ok, Sad
  • Introduction to LifeTime
  • Change 4 Life particularly fats pots and sugar swaps, also Eatwell Plate and label readers
  • FRAT questionnaire for slippers, and talk on falls prevention
  • MECC
  • 11 tops tips – Included over the winter months
