Loan Boxes

Cost per box per week (or part thereof)£20.00
The museum’s loan boxes can be used in the classroom to enhance school based learning. The collection includes many original artefacts as well as high quality replicas. The loans are collected and returned to the Museum.

Memory Box Loans

Cost per box per week (or part thereof)£20.00
These boxes contain objects that can be used as memory and conversation prompts, ideal for the use of carers of older people. They can bring pleasure, stimulation and meaning, and have the potential to lift depression and improve communication. Boxes contain a mixture of real objects, photographs, smells, music and conversation prompt cards.

Terms and Conditions

Collection and return of loans are the responsibility of the person who makes the booking. Safe-keeping in transit and during the loan period is the responsibility of the organiser either as an individual or as part of a school/institution. Cancellations loans bookings must be provided in writing 7 consecutive days prior to an arrangement otherwise the full rate is chargeable. Late returns will be charged accordingly.
