Specialist services in your area

Victim Support runs a specialist service for people affected by crime in Cheshire.

  • Cheshire Restorative Justice and Mediation Hub

The Cheshire Restorative Justice and Mediation Hub is a Victim Support initiative that focuses on providing both restorative justice and mediation right across the county. The restorative justice element responds to requests from the police, probation and prisons to provide victim-led opportunities for restorative interventions to take place involving both victims and those who have offended against them.

The mediation element responds to referrals from a number of sources through the Community Safety Teams, who ensure that this service is deployed where most needed and with an emphasis on alleviating disputes which may lead to antisocial behaviour or criminality.
