Warrington Deaf Centre

Warrington Deaf Club is a lively centre managed by Warrington & District Society for Deaf People. It has been in existence for 129 years serving the needs of deaf and hard-of-hearing people in Warrington and surrounding districts. The Club is full of community activities involving deaf people including the Deaf Social Club, Warrington BSL Signing Choir, BSL classes.

There are also Deaf Church activities once a month, a Deaf Cafe, and different training activities. The Club is also home to the British Deaf History Society, which runs the acclaimed Deaf Museum and Archive situated in the lobby and various rooms on the ground floor at the front of the building.

Another organisation that uses the building is the Institute of British Sign Language, an examinations and assessment awarding body accredited by Ofqual, the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation.

The Centre is full of community activities involving D/deaf people including the Deaf Social Club, Warrington BSL Signing Choir, BSL classes. There are also Deaf church activities once a month, a Deaf cafe, and different training activities.

There are rooms available for hire for meetings, trainng courses or office space
