Warrington Life - Training Team

We e deliver our own training programme for our most vulnerable clients (16 to 100 years of age) within the Warrington LiFE – Training team (formerly Brighter Futures), specifically focusing on supporting anyone who is NEET, economically inactive or unemployed.

 We offer flexible accredited and non- accredited provision, designed to meet learner needs. One of our key strengths is our ability to offer bespoke provision, at different levels, for a wide range of learner cohorts, throughout the year, for example:

  • ‘Building Confidence’ was designed for and delivered to young people (16-24) with specific issues relating to anxiety and depression
  • ‘Eat well Spend less’ helps older learners develop their knowledge healthy eating, food hygiene, health & safety in the kitchen as well as encompassing living on a budget
  • ‘Young Parents’ combines accredited and non-accredited learning and includes options of a L1 award in Customer Service and/or a  L2 Award in Food Safety while covering basic 1st Aid, health relationships, mental health & wellbeing, life skills, budgeting, drugs & Alcohol, sexual health, pre-employability and confidence building
  • ‘Preparation for Life & Work’ this is a flexible course which allows for the delivery of a variable combination of accredited units tailored to any cohort. Aimed at developing self-confidence and the personal skills required to improve independence, socials skills and expectations of the workplace.

Our fully accredited training provision includes: ASDAN Employability, ASDAN Personal & Social Development, Customer Service, First Aid, Safeguarding, Hairdressing and Food Hygiene.
