Self-management peer support programme

Duration of Course

10 Weeks - 4 workshops, followed by 6 informal group sessions

About the course

Our self-management programme can help you to develop techniques to manage your mental wellbeing.  Learning to self-manage can help you to feel more in control of your distress and wellbeing, increase your confidence, improve your relationships and feel empowered to move forward with your life.  Participants will be encouraged to learn from each other and support one another as peers.  The sessions are facilitated by people who have ‘been there’ themselves.  After the programme the group may decide to continue meeting as an informal peer support group.

Content:

What is self-management, toolkits for wellbeing, goal setting & problem solving techniques, relationships with mental health workers, self-care and more.

The programme takes place regularly throughout the year at Warrington Your Way, 44 Allen St, WA2 7JB
