Great Sankey Parish Council

Welcome to the Parish of Great Sankey – a suburb of Warrington, Cheshire, Great Sankey lies about 2 miles to the west of Warrington town centre and mid-way between the cities of Liverpool and Manchester.

Great Sankey now boasts a population of over 25,260 and is continuing to grow. Many people choose to live in Great Sankey because of the great choice of housing, the green space and the excellent transport links. As the Parish has grown so has the Council. The Parish is split into 3 wards, Great Sankey North, Great Sankey South and Whittle Hall with a total of 15 Parish Councillors who take an active part in the running of the Community.
