Warrington VIP supporting coming to terms & learning to live with sight loss in Warrington since 1923
The Aim of Warrington VIP (Visually Impaired People) is to help people, along with their families & friends, come to terms with sight loss, enhance the quality of life, promote the continuing independence and raise awareness of the needs of vision impaired people throughout our communities.
Social activities are for blind and partially sighted people from the Warrington area. We offer a range of services for blind and partially sighted people run from our centre at The Old School Project including:
• Advice on benefits, care, visual aids and transport.
• Tuesday & Thursday member lunch club.
• Home visiting support service for housebound people to help promote independent living.
• Social and recreational activities, including holidays and day trips.
• Dominoes Club held every other Saturday at our centre.
• Monthly Macular Society Meeting on the first Wednesday.
