Free Fitness Classes for 8-12 year olds
REDS Fitness (RESILIANCE, EDUCATION, DETERMINATION, SUCCESS) is a FREE fitness initiative aimed primarily at young people to help them understand all areas of fitness, nutrition and the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.
Paid for courses are available elsewhere but REDS Fitness courses are aimed at young people based in South Warrington who otherwise would be excluded from this kind of activity and would miss out on everything it offers. REDS Fitness offer six-week courses with each course having between 15 and 20 children. They’re run on a Saturday morning from 10-11am at Anytime fitness.

FREE GYM CLASSES FOR CHILDREN
The young people carry out various fitness exercises as well as being given advice on nutrition and the benefits, both physical and personal wellbeing, of leading a healthy lifestyle. These are strengths they can carry forward with them into later life.
As the young people work in a group it also encourage social interaction and teamwork development. They form relationships with other young people that they wouldn’t otherwise have met encouraging healthy social networking outside the gym.

All Children are welcome FREE of charge, this is a fitness and education programme to help children understand the benefits of exercise to not only for their physical wellbeing but for their mental health. Peer Pressure is a constant online and in the community and these young people need a chance to explore alternative avenues. This can help them create more positive social groups, keep them from making bad choices and certainly to help prevent Anti Social Behaviour. They can join this class and expend unwanted energy and learn at the same time as having fun.
