Is this course for me?

Suicide is the biggest killer of men under 50 and a leading cause of death in young males, Offload is a mental fitness programme that invites men to come and see how professional rugby league players, coaches & officials manage their mental fitness using a variety of positive coping strategies.

About the course

Offload is a Big Lottery funded project being run by professional Rugby League Clubs such as the Warrington Wolves in partnership with Rugby League Cares.  The content is innovative and uses lived experiences of men who have struggled with everyday life.

Warrington player Mike Cooper said: "Mental health is a massive part of day-to-day life.  Everyone needs to offload from time to time, and programmes like this give everyone a great opportunity to do that. It's important as players, but also as people, that we look out for each other".

The first half contains personal stories from professional players, coaches & referees with their own personal lived experiences; the second half equips men with tactics and strategies to manage every day life through interactive activities.
