Unique Friendly Individuals (UFI)

Unique Friendly Individuals (UFI) is a group for young people aged 13-19 run by the youth service at Warrington Borough Council.

If a professional (e.g. a social worker, doctor, teacher) thinks you might be starting to feel, or be at risk of, social isolation, bullying, exploitation, poor family life, disengaging from society, etc, they might refer you to our group.

We can provide a wide range of support to help you build confidence, self-esteem, resilience and life-skills you need as you go through your teenage years and into adulthood. We want to help you at the earliest sign of any difficulties you may be facing, and we provide services designed for you and what you need.

Some examples of our activities include:

  • Ice breaker and team building exercises
  • Cooking skills
  • Sports in a non-competitive environment
  • Relaxation using creative arts
  • Multi-cultural awareness
  • A safe space to meet, talk and try new things
