Baby All Kinds of Play
What is it?
Baby all kinds of play is a play session led by two early help 0-10 workers/volunteers for babies and their parents/carers to spend time exploring and playing together.
Who is it for?
Parents/carers and their babies from birth to confident walkers. Siblings can come along too, but our focus on the session will be for babies.
How many sessions are there?
There are sessions every week that you can come along to – please see individual children’s centre programmes or call your local centre for days and times.
How can I access the activity?
You can drop into the session, no need to ring or book on – just turn up. Places are limited due to room capacity.
What will my child get out of the sessions?
Baby all kinds of play aims to develop your baby’s senses, communication and physical development. There will be lots of different activities and experiences provided each week for you to explore and play together such as messy play, soft play and musical instruments. The session ends with group time.
What will I get out of the sessions?
Parents/carers will learn about the importance of children’s development through play and will be given ideas and information on how they can further enhance their child’s learning at home.
