Regularly review your medication

In our later years, we are more likely to be on medicines prescribed by our GP.  We must ensure that we:

  • Have a clinical review of medicines once a year by our GP or pharmacist, it may be that we no longer need the medicine
  • Check if the dose needs to be changed, this can be higher or lower dose
  • Check your medicines are not interfering with one another
  • Take any unused medication back to the pharmacy
