Warrington Samurai Judo Club

Warrington Samurai Judo Club has been running for over 40 years in one way or another, during its time it has operated out of Broomfields Leisure Centre, St Martin’s Church Hall, Woolston Youth Club and Lymm Youth Club.

We are now at our present site in Wellfield Street in a purpose-built dojo, suitable for the sport of judo. Inside is a large mat area able to accommodate approximatley forty judoka, a raised viewing area , there are ladies and gents changing rooms each with hot and cold showers and toilets. Join us on

Judo has its roots in ju-jitsu and is a method of self-defence and unarmed combat.  We hold classes for various age ranges - no suits needed just tracksuit bottoms – jacket supplied, qualified coaches. 

The Judo Club is non profit making and all Coaches and Officials give their services free of charge. Bronze Clubmark awarded 2005 by British Judo Association and Sports England - for more information about Clubmark visit

Senior's: 8pm-9.30pm

Saturday am as required extra fitness, preparing for competitions etc.
