Warrington SEND Information Advice and Support Service (SENDIASS)
Warrington SEND, Information, Advice and Support Service (SENDIASS) helps parents, carers and young people with special educational needs and disabilities aged between 0- 25 years in early education settings, schools and colleges.
Most children and young people will move through pre-school, school and college without any major problems, but some may have difficulties in learning. If you have concerns or worries we may be able to help.
We can explain:
- How the education system works
- What early education providers, schools and colleges can do to help your child/young person.
- What local authorities and other services can do to help your child/young person.
- Your rights and your child/young persons rights.
We can help:
- Parents to make informed decisions about their child’s education and to express their views
- Young people aged 16-25 to to make informed decisions and express their views
We work in partnership with parents, schools, colleges, local authority and other service providers.
The support and advice we provide is impartial, confidential and free.
