Warrington & District Youth Orchestra
At the Warrington Youth Orchestra you can have fun playing your instrument within an orchestra setting as well as improving your playing skills and learning about orchestras.
The Orchestra consists of several ensembles suitable for different instruments and levels of playing. Progression from one ensemble to the next is by regular auditions and vacancies are filled as they arise.
There may occasionally be a waiting list for a particular instrument but where possible new members are accommodated immediately.
Our beginners groups are for children (KS1 and above) who would like to try an orchestral instrument. Group lessons are held for one hour each Saturday morning, at a cost of £25 per term. We have a good selection of instruments which can be borrowed and if your child is interested in joining one of these groups please email us on:
beginnersbrass@gmail.com or beginnerswoodwind@gmail.com
You can meet us at Bridgewater High School (Upper Site) on any Saturday morning in term time. Rehearsals start at 9.30.
