Thelwall Grange Care Home

The home now provides Residential and EMI Residential care including respite stay. The home is registered for a maximum of 47 residents in single rooms with differing sizes but all having lovely views outside to the gardens or stables.

The home is a very large property in leafy Thelwall and has undergone a complete refurbishment both inside and outside so that the environment is appealing and safe for all our residents. There is considerable ongoing investment into the environment and equipment. There are a number of separate day rooms and a conservatory as well as specialist sensory room and an aquarium room to provide stimulation to the residents. We also have special cinema room and hairdressing salon.

Our manager, Carol Everton,  has an excellent track record of having been at her last home for 15 years rising to be the manager for the last four years. Her care homes have always had a “good” CQC rating providing an excellent environment for Residential and EMI Residential clients with the home being almost always full with an enviable reputation. Her challenge was to turn Thelwall Grange Care Home into an even better home with an excellent reputation for care and this has been achieved. She is supported by an excellent staff team and the home is always full of laughter both from staff and residents.

Care We have a number of very experienced senior carers and carers so that you have the comfort of knowing that our care staff are all fully trained from Level 2 right up to Level 5 NVQ and are fully trained in specialist areas such as dementia. Our priority is the care of the residents and this can only be achieved by having highly trained staff, who like caring for elderly residents.

Activities Daily activities are a vital part of life at Thelwall Grange Care Home and we have activities seven days a week in order to keep the residents active. These will also include regular entertainers visiting the home as well as having two activity co-ordinators seven days a week. We shall make sure that special activities are in place for residents’ birthdays and families are always welcome at any time.
